This multimedia project was completed for a class I took at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication. Special Olympics as a whole has always been an important part of my life. My brother, Eamonn, has been competing in different sports since he was little. I wanted to showcase not only the organization and their work, but I also wanted to showcase the athletes and their abilities. This led me to the Special Olympics Arizona AIA Unified Soccer State Championships. I found a particular interest in one team there, Youngker High School.
